In-Person & Virtual: Baby and Me - LGBTQ Parent/ Child Playgroup | Infants 0-18mos | 9:30-11am [PST]
This is a hybrid event. It will be available both in-person and online (Zoom).
Please register in advance to receive phone and video conference access information.
In-person events at OFC are back! We welcome LGBTQ2SIA parents and caregivers of infants (0-18 months) to join us for an hour and a half to connect, share resources, and interact with their babies and others to support their psycho-social developments and parent-child bonds! And we now get to reconnect with each other in person at our San Francisco office and online.
From our peer-facilitator, Maggie Francisco (she/her): I was born and raised in San Franisco (the Mission)! and taught 1st grade in SFUSD for 15 years before having my own child (Ori). Now I am a full time parent and focus on combining what I've learned about child development with an emphasis on sensory motor development, RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) techniques as well as simply trusting myself, to create a parenting style that shows respect for my child's needs as an individual."
PLEASE NOTE: Adults and children ages 2+ must wear a mask at all times in the childcare space, regardless of vaccination status. There is limited occupancy in our office, please contact Family Programs Coordinator Karlon Zee (he/him) at email@example.com or text 510-473-5585 if you are interested in attending in-person.
THIS ONE-TIME PARENT CHILD INTERACTIVE WILL BE THE ONLY IN-PERSON EVENT WE HOST IN THE MONTH OF JULY. PLEASE REFER TO OUR CALENDAR OR CONTACT A STAFF MEMBER TO RECEIVE UPDATES ON IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING.
