In Person & Virtual: Community Drop In Group | 6-8PM(PST)
Description
This is a hybrid event. It will be available both in person and online via video conference.
Please register in advance to receive phone and video conference access information.
Connect with and provide mutual support to other parents and caregivers in this monthly group. Navigating the world as a queer/trans*/SOGI parent can be complex, and finding a safe space to build community with each other can be challenging, especially with our progress so far amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Join this group with other parents/caregivers in social community where you can be your whole self and talk about what matters to y'all! This Drop-In group will resume monthly on Monday, October 4th.
COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN FOR OUR FAMILY COALITION: Limiting access to the workplace eto only necessary staff. Screening employees and visitors to our facility by requiring self-screening (taking their temperature) upon entry. Physical Distancing: Everyone must keep a six-foot distance from others at all times, except when it is not possible for brief times during the movement of people in the workplace. When six feet of distance cannot be maintained, people will be as far apart as possible. Wearing a Face Covering: All employees are required to wear face coverings when indoors, when outdoors if less than 6 feet from another person, and as required by the local dealth department or CDPH.
If you plan on attending this event in person, please email Family Programs Coordinator Shari D'Aguilar (shari@ourfamily.org) directly, no later than Friday, October 1st at noon. Please also let Shari know if you will need childcare while at the office.
