YES, you can protect and empower children to help them be safe from sexual abuse without scaring them, destroying their trust, or explaining sexual abuse. Join Our Family Coalition and KidPower for a workshop on parental skill-building to protect and empower children to help them be safe.
Because relationships with family can be some of the most important and also some of the most challenging, KidPower has decades of experience coaching people – especially adults and teens – how to adapt and apply KidPower techniques to strengthen communication with family.
In this online program, you’ll benefit from the expertise KidPower has developed through these decades of work with people from all walks of life. Participants leave with strategies to:
- Teach and reinforce safety rules with confidence
- Recognize the 5 Levels of Intrusion -- and the skills to protect boundaries at every level
- Use the Kidpower boundary and consent checklist to prevent and solve common, everyday problems
- Recognize potentially unsafe or inappropriate behavior, and how to intervene
- Adapt to make skills practice age-appropriate, rather than scary or confusing
KidPower International is the global nonprofit leader in ‘People Safety’ education – an international movement of leaders reaching millions of people of all ages, abilities, genders, identities, and walks of life with effective, culturally-competent interpersonal and social safety skills.
