San Francisco Pride Family Garden and Parade
Description
We have our contingent number for this year's San Francisco Pride Parade - #112!
March with Our Family Coalition in the official LGBTQ Family Contingent! Be a part of this historical Pride celebration. Make sure you invite friends, family, and allies to join us.
We have a new goal this year to keep our contingent tight and cohesive, so please bring a scooter, wagon, bike or stroller to keep up with the quick pace of the parade. And it is OK to join us for awhile and then step out at any time and meet us at the Family Garden. Families are encouraged to bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.
Meeting time: Sunday, June 30 @ 10:30am
Contingent number: 112
Meeting place: Beale St., Between Market and Mission (look for the OFC banner)
March in the LGBTQ Family Contingent at the San Francisco Pride Parade! Bring snacks, water, red wagons, and other goodies to keep the kiddies occupied. Check you email or visit www.ourfamily.org for updates.
After the parade, OFC and The SF LGBT Community Center (The LGBTQ Family Colloborative) will host the 9th Annual Family Garden located at the corner of Larkin and Grove Streets. The Family Garden features art activities, face painting, and a playground. Meet other LGBTQ Parents, relax while the children play, and receive info at our booth.
OFC needs volunteers for this fun family event. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mark at 415-981-1960 or mark@ourfamily.org. Let’s make this the best Pride ever!
