Triple P Parenting Workshop | 6:00p - 8:00p
Description
This event is offered in a hybrid format, please register in advance.
What:
The Triple P - Positive Parenting Series helps parents and caregivers of children from 0 to 12 years understand their child's social and emotional development, and approach behavioral challenges with structured, consistent, effective responses – enabling more time and energy for the joyful activities that build positive parent-child relationships.
Triple P strategies draw from social learning, cognitive behavioral and developmental theory, and extensive research into the sources of behavioral problems in children. Throughout the 8- week course, participants study the patterns of conflict in their families, learn to prepare in advance new ways to respond to flare-ups, and refine their ability to help their children develop emotional and behavioral self-regulation.
This series will be facilitated by Triple P trained OFC Communications and Development Programs Specialist, Q.
