Skills for Supporting Safe, Strong Family Relationships with Kidpower & OFC
What:
Looking to strengthen your boundary-setting skills? Interested in learning more about how to manage emotional triggers?
In this adults-only online program organized by Our Family Coalition and presented by Kidpower, learn strategies to improve communication and build safe, strong relationships - including how to:
- Set clear, respectful boundaries – including with elders and with children who are not your own
- Manage your emotional triggers – so they don’t rule your behavior
- Stay assertive – rather than becoming passive or aggressive
- Deal confidently with negative responses to boundaries without compromising the boundaries you have set
- Advocate to stop unwanted attention directed at your child or at other vulnerable people in the family
