In honor of Black History Month, Our Family Coalition (OFC) invites LGBTQ+ families, especially caregivers with young Black and Brown young children, to participate in an affirming and accessible field trip to the African American Museum & Library at Oakland (AAMLO).
This two-hour, family-friendly experience is designed, to explore Black history through:

Storytelling

Art and Crafts
-
Shared discovery
Together, families will engage with a guided museum tour, participate in playful learning activities, and celebrate the legacy, creativity, and contributions of Black communities, past, present, and future.
Families are encouraged to bring their own lunch to enjoy together during the visit. All activities are designed to be accessible, low-pressure, and engaging for young children and caregivers alike.
