Join Our Family Coalition for a joyful morning at the farmers market designed especially for LGBTQ+ families with young children and those expereincing food insecurity! Families will explore colorful fruits and vegetables, meet local farmers, and learn how fresh foods make their way from farm to table.
Children will enjoy a fun scavenger hunt, hands-on activities, and opportunities to discover new fruits and vegetables through sight, touch, and taste. Parents and caregivers will leave with simple ideas for preparing healthy meals, tips for shopping for fresh produce on a budget, and information about community resources that support family wellness and access to nutritious food.
As part of this program, participating families may also receive additional grocery support and other resources to help meet their household needs.

To be eligible for basic needs support associated with this program, families are encouraged to register in advance. Registered participants will receive a confirmation email the day before the event with important details, including the meeting location, arrival instructions, and contact information for an Our Family Coalition staff member who will be available on the day of the event.
