What:
Our Family Coalition is excited to welcome you to our annual Oakland Pride Family Garden at Children's Fairyland, conveniently located just half a mile from the Oakland Pride Parade route. Before the parade begins, join us for a joyful, family-friendly celebration where LGBTQ+ families, friends, and allies can connect, play, and celebrate Pride together.
This year's Family Garden is designed with something for children, teens, caregivers, and families of all ages. Whether you're looking to get creative, explore, relax, or simply enjoy time in community, we invite you to stop by and celebrate with us in a space where every family belongs.%20(1).png)
Enjoy FREE activities, including:
- Face Painting
- Arts & Crafts Activities
- STEM Activities
- Tie-Dye Station (bring a light-colored cotton T-shirt, tote bag, socks, or another clothing item to create your own Pride keepsake!)
- Bubbles & Bubble Play
- Plant Your Own Garden (take home the plant you pot yourself!)
- Giveaways and more!
Come celebrate Pride with Our Family Coalition, Children's Fairyland, and Oakland Pride as we create a vibrant, affirming space filled with creativity, connection, laughter, and community. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Important Notes:
- Please register every person attending to receive free admission to Children's Fairyland through Our Family Coalition. Registration helps us prepare for the event, ensure enough supplies and activities for everyone, and accurately track attendance for our community programs and funders.
- Planning to participate in the Tie-Dye Station? Please bring a light-colored cotton clothing item (such as a T-shirt, tote bag, socks, or bandana) to decorate and take home. Limited dye supplies will be provided while supplies last.
