Strengthening Our Families: Social-Emotional Competence in the Early Years
Description
Join us for a free, four-part parent education series, led by Karen Fierer, M.A Early Childhood Education. Karen, lesbian mom of both younger kids and a young adult, will convey the key nuggets of insight regarding fostering social-emotional competence in the early years: how to raise self-aware, respectful children who know how to manage their emotions, make responsible decisions, and resolve conflicts. Get tips on how to create an environment of trust, respect, and support at home, as well as support in modeling "emotionally intelligent" behavior at home, the first step in nurturing emotionally intelligent children.
