Family Aikido (ages 6-10)
Description
Over the course of four Saturday mornings, youth ages 6-10 and their older family members will be introduced to the Japanese art of aikido. A non-violent and non-competitive art, aikido serves both as a peaceful means of self-defense and a compassionate form of protecting an attacker from injury. The use of games as teaching tools will make it fun for everyone, and the practice of discipline and calm will benefit young and old alike.
Held at Heart of San Francisco Aikido (map) Saturdays, March 7-28. Healthy snacks provided.
Adults $10/class ($40 for series), Kids $5/class ($20 for series). Family flat rate of $80 for series available. Reduced 25% for folks starting week two.
