Positive Parenting Program: Teen
Over the course of a dozen Tuesday evenings, Dawn Stueckle, ED of Sunset Youth Services, will lead LGBTQ parents and caregivers through the road- and teen-tested curriculum of the Positive Parenting Program. Gain insights about supporting tweens and teens through the changes of adolescence, and learn ways to strengthen your relationship with one another.
The first session consists of a pre-class interview for both parents and teens, so please plan to bring your kids to this Oct 6 session. Thereafter, all but the last session will be parents-only. The last session includes a participant recognition party!
Held at Our Family Coalition offices (map).
As always, dinner and child care provided free upon advance registration. If within 48 hours, please call 415-981-1960 to ensure receipt of your childcare request. Free parking after 5pm in the gated OFC lot at 10th & Mission.
Pen and paper recommended for note-taking and/or writing down resources.
Friendly OFC Staffer: Polly Pagenheart. Contact email@example.com or 415-981-1960 with questions or comments.
We strive to make our programs accessible to all families. Please register for accommodations that would help your family participate to the fullest (e.g. ASL interpreter, translator, childcare providers experienced with kids with disabilities, large print materials, gluten-free food options, etc.). If registering within 48 hours of the event, please call 415-981-1960 to ensure receipt of your request.
