Afro Urban Dance Class for LGBTQ Families
Description
From the streets and clubs in Africa to The Bay! Come dance with us at this series of 3 family friendly classes with Nkei Oruche from BoomShake. It's most definitely a unique occasion for you to meet and connect with other LGBTQ families. You will learn new moves and master your afro dance attitude.
Held at Destiny Arts Center (map) 3-4:30pm, Saturday afternoons, April 2, May 7, and June 4.
Parking and transit info: Easy street parking. .2 mi from F & 88 line bus stops. .9 mi from Ashby BART station.
Healthy snacks provided. Program is free. Suggested donation available upon registration. No one turned away for lack of funds.
