VIRTUAL PRIDE INSIDE: Alchemy con Akemi Live Dance Class for All-Ages • 11AM-12PM

Our Family Coalition is excited to announce that Shaneeka "Akemi" Smoot of Loco Bloco will be leading this Parent-Child interactive movement class (Alchemy con Akemi) designed to engage the whole family in virtual activity! This class will be the first class of a 6-week series, every Saturday from 11am-12pm culminating in a whole class performance on Saturday August, 6th.
Akemi will be leading families in a dance course that blends dances from the African Diaspora such as Afrobrazilian, bachata, salsa, hip hop, reggaeton, house, Afro Cuban, creative exploration, choreographic process, and dance composition to guide the students' experession in storytelling with movement.

Taking place virtually via secure Zoom phone and video conference.
