Mission Possible: Understanding the Teen & Tween Mind

Tweens and teens have notorious emotional ups and downs, but what causes them?oin OFC and Destiny Arts Center to answer these questions and more, in this eye-opening session with Jessie Rose Cohen, LCSW, a Bay Area child and family therapist – and queer parent – who specializes in work with youth. 


Trans Family Field Trip to Lawrence Hall of Science [Tour & 3D Movie Included!]

Discover & experience with Our Family Coalition on our Trans Family Field Trip to Lawrence Hall of Science. Come with your little ones to explore the exhibits and enjoy the 3D film or Planetarium the Hall has in store for us. As spaces are limited, we will not be able to accommodate walk-ins.

Kidpower Safety Workshop for kids 6-11 with their adults

March 30th, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, Berkeley

LGBTQIA+ families with kids ages 6-11, come practice social safety skills to have more fun and fewer problems with people - including peers, family, and strangers - everywhere you go.


Now accepting 2019-20 academic year applications for the Markowski-Leach Scholarship

The Scholarship is intended for LGBTQ undergraduate and graduate students attending San Francisco State University, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC Hastings, and UC San Francisco.  The Scholarship award is $2,000 per year for 2 years as long as the recipient continues to meet eligibility requirements.  To continue the award beyond the initial 2 years, re-application is necessary.

LGBTQ Parents-to-Be Community Support Meet & Greet - Sunday, February 24th, 12-1:30PM

For LGBTQ parents-to-be who are considering family formation options, trying to conceive, awaiting adoption or the birth of their child(ren) through surrogacy, or who are currently pregnant. Parents adding to their families are also welcome!
